Retired Stjepan Vokic, who takes care every day about the storks for decades, says they are not really friendly today because they are protecting their little ones and not allowing anyone near the nest. Vokic feeds them with small chunks of pork, because in August they are set sail for Africa.

This famous bird couple brought to this world 58 storks in 13 years.

Let us recall, the male in love Klepetan is returning to his partner Malena for 14 years, which was wounded 23 years ago by an Italian hunter, and now she is forced to spend her winters in Croatia. And for decades a retired Stjepan Vokic is taking care of them in Brodski Varos in Slavonija.

Vokic says that every Autumn the male flies to south, and returns to his girl in first days of Spring, after flying over 13.500 kilometers. He is back this year as well even tho he is six days late.
