FAMOUS SERBIAN DOCTOR CLAIMS: Storage of stem cells is unnecessary waste of money!

Doctor Nadezda Basara, manager of Internal Clinic "Maltese Knights" in Flensburg, in Germany, claims that it is not necessary to store stem cells from the umbilical cord for transplantation in the case of big disease.

- Storage of stem cells from the umbilical cords of babies is unnecessary waste of money - said Basara for the interview for Podgorica's "Pobeda" and points out that there are over 20 million potential donors around the world, so the possibility to find an adequate donor for 20.000 transplantation a year is greater than 90%.

According to Basara, who is from Montenegro by origin, well known for the successful treatment of leukemia and other difficult diseases, every country should have next to its Institute for Blood Transfusion a bank of potential donors of stem cells, which are are obtained by standardization of grown ups between 18 and 50 years, and which was included in wold data bank.

Doctor Basara also says that there is a lot of mistaking when making diagnosis of difficult diseases on the Balkans. Not all factors are included, necessary for administrating the right treatment, said Basara. 

She said that in 2015. she had 10 serious cases on her clinic from Montenegro, that were sent there through the health fond, and with everyone there was a successful treatment.

Also, Basara warns that the Cannabis oil is "no medicine at all, nor treatment in curing any other malign diseases".

- Cannabis is only the drug that relieves pain in short terms - said Basara.
