Bogdanovic takes GOLD MEDAL at European Taekwondo Championships

MONTREUX - Serbia's Tijana Bogdanovic won the gold medal in the women's 49 kg event at the ETU European Taekwondo Championships in the Swiss town of Montreux, after defeating Ana Petrusic of Slovenia 7-0 in Thursday's final.

This is Serbia's first gold medal at European championships, which carries added importance as in the semi- final, Bogdanovic managed to beat the three-time European champion and bronze medalist from the London Olympics- Lucija Zaninovic of Croatia.
