CROATIA REMOVES SEAL FROM USE: They will save a lot of money and reduce administration costs
Reform of Croatian Government envisages phasing out of the seal, which Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic called "relic of the past", which in the future should contribute to the reduction of administrative barriers.
Economy Minister Tomislav Panenić estimates that this measure, which is an integral part of the reform package, should result in multiple savings in the public and private sectors in procedures requiring the use of seals.
By measuring with Standard Cost Model as a part of the Action Plan for reducing the administrative burden on businesses, calculated administrative relief of almost six million Kuna (approximately 800,000 euros) in case of cancellation of the seal in the process of starting a business.
Prime Minister Oreskovic, as conveyed portal Index.hr, recalled that, according to the report of Doing Business World Bank, in the process of starting a business from all EU member states seal with Croatia used only Ireland and Greece.
Its abolition, he said, will be a positive signal, but all who have it said that it "can be saved as a souvenir."
At the same time set up a working group to monitor the implementation of the measure abolishing seal.
