President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic arrived to Republic of Indonesia where he will be for 3 days, and he was welcomed by Minister of Transport Ignasius Donan, and it was a joint friendship between the two countries that was firm with basis from the period of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Nikolic and Rouhani discuss deepening of Serbia-Iran cooperation
The two nations, as pointed out, share a love of peace and freedom.
President Nikolic made an ascertainment that Serbia is firmly on it's way to euro integration, but intensely refreshes and strengthens old friendships around the world.
The President underlined that Serbia appreciates the fact that Indonesia supports its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
- Relations between Serbia and Indonesia are excellent, but we have to strengthen even more the potential for better economic cooperation - he said.
President Nikolić commented on the migrant crisis that hit Europe, but also its fundamental principles.
- Europe is on a big test and it is not easy to make a good balance between enabling free movement and protection of lands from terrorism and the different forms of violence - said the president of Serbia, reported the press service of the President.
Only with joint forces, he added, and thrugh understanding we can solve that problem, which is still a constant threats to the states what that are on the migrants path. President Nikolic expressed confidence that tomorrow's meeting with the President of Indonesia Dok Vidod give additional impulse to the deep friendship between the two peoples, and that economic and other ties will be further intensified.
There are many opportunities for developing economic cooperation, education, culture, science and many others, stressed the President.
Minister of Transport Ignasius Donan stressed that he will try his best to make the stay for the president as much as possible successful and enjoyable.
Following the first day of his official visit President will visit the National Museum of Indonesia and National Monument Indonesia.
