(DISTURBING PHOTO) MONSTERS do not stop for nothing: They killed a deer, and turned to shot at warden!

The police in Nis is searching for two men who killed a roe deer on Wednesday night near the area of Loznac village in the community of Aleksinac. When they noticed that they were spotted, one of the poachers loaded the gun towards the warden but he quickly gave up when he saw the other warden while he was alarming the police.

The game warder Dragan Stojanovic said that he and his partner spotted two men in illegal hunting while they were patrolling the hunting grounds.

- We were patroling the surroungins of the village Loznac when we heard a shot around 20:00 h. To better locate where shooting came from, we split up and started searching the hunting grounds. We saw two men dragging a murdered deer with belts. We couldn't see their faces because it was night. My partner called to them, but one of the poachers turned the gun to him and loaded. However, when he saw me too, he retreated, and both ran away leaving the murdered animal - told Stanojevic.

The game warden emphasizes that this is not the first time they were hunting in this particular area.

- That is the one of the riskiest places for our job because many people from the village resort to poaching and they don't stop for nothing when we find them. Two years ago, they shot at us and we were really worried for our safety. We should have better protection because we risks our lives every day protecting animals from poachers - said Stojanovic.

The police from Nis confirmed this case and reported that there is a course of the investigation to identify persons who were illegally hunting.
