CONFESSION OF A MAN WHO LOST HIS LEGS BY A ROTARY CULTIVATOR: I only thought that it is a really stupid way to die! (PHOTO)

- That one hour, while i waited for ambulance, seemed like an eternity. Both of my legs were trapped between shovels of the rotary cultivator. Only one thought went through my mind: "Such a stupid way to die" - said from a hospital bed Zoran Tosis from a village near Nis, Sicevo. He had a terrible accident on a Sunday afternoon in a field.

Unfortunate man went early in the morning to clear his field from the grass and prepare it for planting.

- That field is around a kilometer from the village. I worked whole morning, while i was plowing grass. I don't know what time it was, all i know is that it was after noon when cultivator went "crazy". Motor has over the filter started injecting oil and instead of forward, it started going backward. While i was trying to restrain it, the shovels grabbed my legs. I felt horrifying pain while they cut my feet and calf, blood rushed over me in a moment.

- Rotary cultivator kept moving and fortunately for me it hit an elm tree and fell on it's side. From the impact it stopped working, if it hadn't i would be dead because it would have crushed my legs - Tosic describes the tragedy that almost costed him his life.

Manager of Clinical center in Nis Zoran Radovanovic stated that the patient suffered from grievous bodily harm.

- Because of his difficult injuries, his right shin has been amputated, there are cut blood vessels on his left leg, injuries were treated surgically and the doctors are trying to save the leg - said Radovanovic.
