A part of the ceiling in the elementary school "Milan Rakic" in the village of Ducici, municipality Mionica, fell just 15 minutes before the classes.

There are 30 students in this school from grades 1-4, along with several preschool kids, and the ceiling fell yesterday, March 22, just around 8 AM.

Parents are worried about the safety of their children because the ceiling fell just one meter away from the benches where they were sitting.

President of the municipality, along with the building inspector visited the school that morning.

The school was built 40 years ago, and the parents were the ones who usually payed for the expenses and renovation.

The headmaster of the school warned the authorities about the things that need to be done, she sent them the projects about fixing the roof and the carpentry, but no one has answered her requests.
