She said what was the most interesting for them, what was the surprise for the prince, and what he did not know that had happened.
She told them about the history, geography, and the symbols.
- I told them about the dynamic history of Belgrade, what has happened and how everything changed. I showed them the confluence of Sava and Danube rivers and explained that at that place geography made history, that cultures interwove, and that this place is extremely important to understand Belgrade and Serbia history - said Stojanovic.
According to her, the prince found the story about the monument "The Victor" really amusing.
This is the story where the ladies in Belgrade were very angry because they did not want to see a naked 14-meter-tall man in the center of the city.
- I told them about the former CC building, today's Usce shopping mall, that through that building once can see the transition process of Serbia - stated Stojanovic.
She added that prince did not know that Belgrade was bombarded 6 times.
- The prince is very direct, communicative, he was interested in everything. He interested the most about the WWI exhibition at Kalemegdan fortress - said the historian.
