Parents of two 12-year-olds from the city of Leskovac claim that their children are victims of peer abuse, and that nobody from the school did anything to stop it or prevent it.

According to "Alo!" news agency, one of the boys had to change the school, while the mother of the other kid threatens to file a criminal report against the parent whose child broke her child a tooth and beat him in the face.

Both parents claim that their children have been victims since first grade, and that two years ago it turned into physical abuse.

School authorities claim that the whole case is overblown and that they did everything in their power to prevent it.

They accused the parents of being biased.

- They used to take his pants off, lock him up in the school bathroom, called the police from his cellphone and swore. They made him kneel in the mud and tried to wipe his face with dog poo. Torn books and notebooks have become everyday reality, and the abuse would continue on Facebook too - said D.N., father of the boy who had to change to another school.

School authorities claim that they did everything and that the problem lies in the student.

They reported that the boy himself used to provoke other pupils, and that his father never took interest in the case.

- The student was verbally offensive to other students which provoked them. All the parties in this case were punished properly, and we started working with them because it was clear that they could not continue studying on their own - said the school psychologist.

V.Đ., mother of the other student claims that her child is afraid of going to the school because it fears that it will become a new target of the bullies.

In the meantime, they referred to a child psychologist who concluded that the kid is normal but that he is very scared.
