FAREWELL, LEGEND: Dragan Nikolić died
Legendary actor Dragan Nikolić died this morning in Belgrade, at the Military Medical Academy, aged 73.

He spent his final days connected to the machines that helped him breathe.
Doyen of the Serbian acting scene was born in 1943 in Belgrade.
After elementary school, he enrolled in the XIV Grammar school but he did not finish because he was transferred to the school of Economics.
After 2 years in high school, he passed the exam to enter the Academy for theater, movie, radio and television.
Aged 17, he was the youngest student.
His movie career started in 1964 with a small role in the movie "Pravo stanje stvari".
Credits for his famous nickname go to the mistake from the TV series "Dovoljno je ćutati", 1965 where he was given the nickname that will mark his career.
First major role for him was in the movie “Kad budem mrtav i beo”.
In his opus he had more than 30 roles in movies and series, like “Horoskop”, “Bube u glavi”, “Mlad i zdrav kao ruža”, “Nacionalna klasa”, “Ko to tamo peva”, “Banović Strahinja” where he got a Golden arena prize at the movie festival in the city of Pula, “Balkan ekspres”, “Poslednji krug u Monci”, and “Original falsifikata”.
Besides theater, he acted on television and in short films.
His popularity grew after his major role in the series "Otpisani" and "Povratak otpisanih" where he played one of the major characters, Prle.
Along with his wife, Milena Dravić, he was the host in a show "Obraz uz obraz".
In the year 2000 he was given the prize "Pavle Vuisić" for his life's work.
From September 2011 up to 2013 he was the host of the popular quiz "Multimillionaire" on RTV Pink.
