Muhamed K. (51) was arrested due to a reasonable doubt that he was holding an axe in the packed bus in the municipality of Zemun and yelling "Allahu Akbar", threatening to kill "all the Serbs".

Terrified passengers called the police which took Muhamed K. out of the bus and brought him into custody.

He was detained up to 48 hours after which he will be brought to Prosecution office.

It is suggested that the man was intoxicated, and according to "Blic" news agency, he had been also arrested in February for similar deeds.

Apparently Muhamed was telling the people he will activate the bomb and kill them all.

Police officers forced him on the ground, found the axe, but he said that he did not want to kill anyone, but that he was angry because the driver did not want to stop outside the bus station.

- I was going to my workplace. A young man approached the driver asking him to stop outside the station. He declined and asked him to step out of the vehicle. Furious, the guy started yelling that he had a bomb and that he would kill us all. I wanted to come to him because I practiced martial arts, but the other people asked me not to do that. They were scared because they did not know who he was or what did he have with him. I decided to call the police - said Branimir Đokić, one of the passengers.
