Former Serbian ambassador in Libya, Dušan Simeonovic, said for "Politika" news agency that he personally arranged the meeting between Gaddafi and former president Boris Tadic in 2005.

According to him, Gaddafi never wanted Yugoslavia to fall apart and he advocated that Muslims and Serbs should live in the same country.

He was inclined to us and "he would never acknowledge the independence of Kosovo and Metohija".

Other officials who met Gaddafi are: Vuk Jeremic, Dragan Šutanovac, Boris Tadic, Žarko Obradovic, Zoran Lilic and others.
