WHO PAYS FOR A PROSTITUTE WILL FACE 60 DAYS IMPRISONMENT! Serbian law previses fierce punishments for ILLEGAL SEX
According to the new law about public peace, everyone who uses the services of prostitutes will pay a fine up to 1200 Euro or they will face 60 days imprisonment, and only the people who are caught "in the act" will be punished.

The new law fines for the first time the person who pays for sex, while other laws only predicted punishments for the people taking money out of it.
The article 16 of the Law of public peace says:
- Who dabbles in prostitution, uses the services, or rents the premises for prostitution will be punished with a 400-1200 Euro fine, or a jail time from 30 to 60 days.
Who offers the premises to an underage person will face 30-60 days imprisonment.
Member of the Parliament Stefana Miladinović is one of the proposing parties for this law and she states that this law was made upon the Swedish model and that this country found it useful in prostitution preventing.
- The best solution is to legalize prostitution, this is the EU trend, and we are striving to be like EU - says the psychiatrist Aleksandra Janković for Informer news agency.
