According to the "Večernje novosti" news agency, grandma Marija, who still lives in a dilapidated house of mud, these heirs claim to have the last will with which the late Momčilo Zlatić gave all his money to them.
These heirs are sons of Momčilo's sister.
One of them sent his data to Australia and that the family which takes care about grandma Marija came a letter in which it was stated that the real heirs have been found and that all the money left should be given back.
In the meantime, another "heir" came from Belgrade to the town of Boljevac, who also claims to have a will in which it was stated that the money should go to him.
He asked the people who take care of grandma Marija to make a deal and not to go to court but to "share the wealth fair and square".
- There came a man to my house who said he was the nephew of the late Momčilo. He asked of me to give him contacts and emails of the people in Australia so that he could ask and get "the rights he has by law". I did not want to help him. I asked him why he did not do this after Momčilo passed away because he knew very well that his uncle died in Australia - claims M.A., the woman who managed to secure the money to grandma Marija after three years negotiating with the people from Serbia and Australia.
After being rejected, the "heir" went to the people who have a contract about supporting grandma Marija but he was thrown away from there also after making the same proposal.
- Where were you when grandma Marija did not have anything to eat? Has not M.A. told you that Momčilo died and neither you nor your brother wanted to take part in. You were afraid that he left some debts you would have to pay as his heirs, and now when you heard that he left some money, you want your share - said the man who takes care about Marija.
All sides engaged lawyers to make things clear.
Grandma Marija still lives surrounded with her only friends - dogs.
- Damn money. I knew things would turn like this. Now everyone knows me and remind me that we are in relation. And only two people have taken care of me for these last couple of decades. I do not care about the money. I do not even know how much money that is, that is why I gave it away. My pension is enough for me. Those people who want to take the money, as far as I am concerned, they can kill each other pursuing them. Where I am going, I do not need any money - said grandma Marija.
