The grand opening of the lodge, which now has more than 30 members, has started with the ceremony of illumination, for which the Sacred Flame of Jerusalem was used.

In the master room all the people present had ceremonial garments, and there was a Bible in front of them opened at the Book of David.

Moreover, there were  also famous traditional symbols of masonry - a compass, a protractor, a sword, a skull, and candles.

Tepavac said for "Alo!" news agency that this is a great honor for him to represent Free masons and  he said that they will all try to improve the quality of life in the province of Vojvodina.

- We have gathered the most influential people of different occupations from the territory of AP Vojvodina who are, most of all, good people with impeccable reputation. Our hope is that we can become an institution in Vojvodina, so that we can, with our own influence created through our lives and business experience, strengthen the life of the people in Vojvodina. We are going to work on cultural, not the material plan, and we will make life easier here -  said Tepavac, adding that the lodge will hopefully have more than 100 members in a year.

It is interesting that he has had a rich political career, and that he used to be the member of the Democratic political party.

- The fact that he is or he is not a leader of the Free Masons' lodge is a private matter of every man and it has absolutely no connection with the politics of the party. Personally, I do not have a high opinion about masonic lodges and I would never propagate someone to join them. On the contrary, I have nothing against the people who think differently - said Rasim Ljajić for "Alo!".
