A young man from Serbia filed a lawsuit because he hurt his penis: This man from the city of Novi Sad is the talk of the whole state!

An unusual situation happened recently in the city of Novi Sad when a young man filed a lawsuit because he hurt his penis while playing basketball.

In his lawsuit, this young man requested 270.000 RSD along with the default interest due to the physical pain, fear, and mental pain, wrote the portal 021.rs.

According to this portal, the young man was playing basketball on 30 September 2014 at a local playground Eđšeg when he tried to get the ball out of the court, falling "to the metal construction laying right next to the ground, causing the 10 cm laceration near the area of his genitals, right above his member".

He was transferred directly to the ER where the wound was stitched and he was released for further treatment, but he had to return on the same day around 10 pm because the wound started bleeding again.

In the lawsuit it was also stated that he had additional treatment over the next few days and he had to undertake the screening on March 2015 and that the results showed that "fortunately his reproductive ability was left intact".

Still, due to the lawsuit, the physical injury was not all what happened, but the young man had to see the therapist due to mental problems he faced.

- Because of the nature of the wound, the unpleasantness he had to undergo during the treatment, and due to the fear of possible consequences, he was clinically depressed and after the examination it was concluded that he was suffering from a mixture of anxiety and depression disorder, and had to take different medicine - it was stated in the lawsuit.

This resident of the city of Novi Sad stated that he expects the forensic expertise connected with physical pain and disfigurement, as well as mental pain.

In the explanation of the lawsuit it was stated that the city of Novi Sad was the owner of the playground where the accident happened, and that the local municipality was responsible for keeping the public area clean and that the metal object should have been removed.

Pictures of the court and the penis were shown as an addition to the lawsuit as well as the hospital bill.

From the City council it was confirmed unofficially that one of the residents filed a lawsuit because he hurt his penis, but they did not wish to make an official statement because the investigation was still in progress.

On the other hand, again unofficially, they said that this was just one out of hundred of lawsuits against the city and the public companies, and that there was a reason to suspect into the sanity of some statements from the requests.
