He lost his father Gojko (46), mother Dragica (37), sister Marija (14), and brother Andrija (7) on April 11, 2004 when they had a car accident, fell into the river of Ibar and drowned.

Since then, Marko has been going through life alone, completely positive that we will not leave Kosovo and Metohija.

- I like the fact that I stayed here. This is my home, my school, my friends, and the rest of my family - says Marko for "Blic" news agency and counts all the facts why he is so drawn to this part of Serbia:

- I feel really nice here. Everyone is taking care of me. I am now in the 7th grade and I am a good student. I have a lot of friends with whom I play football and root for FC "Red Star" Belgrade.

Even though he spends the holidays with his aunt's family in the village of Sočanica, Marko always visits his home.

- I go home almost every day. I put the logs into the stove, clean the house and the rooms, and I am not afraid to sleep there alone. On the Christmas Eve I will bring the Yule log into the house. With my brother and my uncle I go to the forest to get the log. I go to the church and light the candles - says this boy.

Let's make life easier for Marko Vučinić.

If you wish to help, send an SMS to 2552 or donate the funds to the bank account of the "Blic" news agency: 2750010221949709 90 – RSD, Societe Generale Serbia, Belgrade.

Before the payment it is important to stress that the help should go to Marko Vučinić.

His uncle Radojko interrupts him for a moment and asks him whether he would like him to go together to the house in the village of Vuča.

- Only he knows how to deal with all of that. He knows everything but avoids talking about the accident. We will not let his home disappear. We will take care of Marko and the house. Recently, with the help from the donators, we placed drainpipes and new doors on the house. He will have to go back there sooner or later, so we have to take care of the house, not to let it rot away. But it is hard for everybody.

Marko's legal guardian is his cousin Milan Nikolić with his wife Sanja, who, like Marko, say that nothing is too difficult for them.

Marko gets 2000 RSD from Serbia as a means of social help, and 5000 RSD from the municipality of Leposavić.

Moreover, Vukoje Vukojević, director of the firm where Marko's father used to work for 18 years, gives him his father's pension, and the owner of the "Ktitor" factory Milija Milosavljević donates 250 Euro every month for Marko's education.

All this money is being placed on a special bank account so that Marko, when he becomes of age, could use it to start his own life.
