Handball players of Vojvodina who were returning from a match of the Champions League in Porto managed to overpower him in the intent to down the plane.

Drama occurred as the plane flew over Austria. The Jordanian first banged on the cockpit door and yelled, "I will open the door of the plane!"

Calm passengers were able to respond immediately and physically overpower him, so the plane landed safely in the capital of Serbia at 12:45. According to the unconfirmed information, the flight crew did not even report to flight control in Belgrade that there was a problem in the aircraft.

Only after landing the police was informed and immediately arrested the Jordanian, who is currently at the hearing.
