One of them was Gordana Petrović from Obrenovac, who said she simply could not fathom these people sleeping out in the rain, and as she says, just stood up, began to gather things and came here to help as much as she could.
- We came as a family, I came with my husband and mother in law, we brought some clothes, food, shoes, whatever we could. I was taken by the moment, when I saw it on the news, we from Obrenovac had a similar situation when, because of floods, we had to leave our homes but we knew that we would return, unfortunately, these people have nowhere to return - said Gordana for Tanjug.
She appealed to all the people that can help, to come out and help the migrants. Fortunately, Gordana was not alone and several people also toured tents and distributed food, bread, chicken salami, juices, canned foods, clothes, shoes and blankets to very grateful people who clenched their hands, wishing them all the best in life.
- As of Monday, refugees will be able to obtain all necessary information at the "Info-desk" in the Belgrade Bus Station park - said the mayor, Sinisa Mali.
