A TV exploded and set fire to the apartment! Four children ended up in hospital

Ten people were evacuated in last night's fire that occurred at around 9 pm in an apartment at Starine Novaka on Detelinari .

The Emergency Medical Service said that a total of 10 people were looked after on the spot for smoke inhalation. Eight of them were immediately transferred to the ambulance.

Among them were four children aged one to nine years who were admitted to the Children's Hospital, as well as four adults who were transferred to the Institute for Pulmonary Diseases .

Unofficially, the fire was caused by a television explosion in an apartment, which burned down entirely. Four fire crews came out to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters were able to evacuate residents from neighboring buildings, and due to the difficult access, they were lowered, writes Radio 021.
