Popular Serbian singer vehemently replied to the famous athlete who mocked her! (PHOTO)

After being mocked by volleyball player Aleksandar Atanasijević publicly, singer Seka Aleksic vehemently responded over Facebook.

Upon his arrival from Rio, Aleksandar was disappointed with the number of people who greeted the volleyball team at the airport, and in a statement said that it was sad that more people welcome singers like Seka Aleksic  than them - athletes.

- We will never be a sport that will be like basketball and football. I'm happy for those people who are following us. It is sad that at a welcoming, there are more guests awaiting a singer, like Seka Aleksic rather than us. But, that's life. We will prepare to improve ourselves, to prove to ourselves, and our country, that we are the best. We will continue to work, and whether someone will follow us, that does not matter too much - said the volleyball player for "Vijesti online".

"Greetings for someone (as I do not know who it is, but I read it yesterday) who said it was unfortunate that more people welcome me than him with a bronze medal ... so my suggestion to you is ask yourself why that is? If you're good enough? If people like you, like they do me .. do you do good deeds and mean well instead of calling out people you don't even know?! Gentlemen do not behave like that, shame on you!"
