The son of  Prince Aleksandar II Karadjordjevic of Serbia, Aleksandar III is in a relationship with the daughter of the renowned Serbian director Emir Kusturica, Dunja. The couple was seen in public for the first time, appearing at the birthday of the Serbian king, and until then, they hid their love from the public eye.

The Serbian public has long been speculating whether Dunja and Prince Aleksandar III are actually in a relationship, but all their suspicions were proved when the two of them appeared together at the 70-th birthday of Prince Aleksandar II Karadjordjevic.

They were two years old when they started kindergarten, and at the age of eight became one students of one of the best primary schools in London. In June 2000, they graduated at the King's School in Canterbury, England.
