It happened in the 80s when Lemmy, guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke and their then drummer Phil PhilthyE Animal Taylor visited a boy who in a coma in a hospital.
- We made several mix tapes with our songs and played them to him in the hospital and he woke up! That is something I am most proud of - said Lemmy and added that many more poeple were in the same department in a similar situation, but their music did not affect them like it did their fan.
