GHASTLY TRAGEDY NEAR NIS: Turkish truck killed four on the highway! (PHOTO FROM THE SCENE)

Four people were killed and two were seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred this morning around 4 am near Nis, RTS reports.

The incident involved a truck with Turkish license plates, and two passenger vehicles

The accident occurred when a truck with Turkish license plates ran into two vans which were located in the emergency lane, and pushed them off the road.

The bodies of the victims were carried away from the scene of the accident, and the investigation is currently ongoing. Teams are now trying to remove the vehicles that were crushed after the accident and  teams of firefighters and police are on the field.

Two severely injured persons were transported to the Clinical Center of Nis.

They are seriously injured but their condition is not life-threatening.

The Turkish truck driver (1953) was admitted to the hospital with a head injury but his condition is not life threatening. Also, the young man, J. A. (1987) from the van with Leskovac licence plates was also injured but his condition is not life threatening.
