KUMANOVO GROUP IS PREPARING REVENGE ATTACKS: In Macedonia, security measures at the highest level!

Macedonian police have raised the security measures to a higher level on the basis of operative information that supporters of the "Kumanovo group" are preparing revenge attacks in Macedonia, said the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivo Kotevski.

For agency Meta, Kotevski said that the police has information that the group's plans include the kidnapping of police officials and attacks on vital state facilities.

That is why, says Kotevski, instructions have been issued to raise security measures to a higher level when it comes to the security of persons and objects within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the treatment and the official handling of equipment, and the compulsory patrolling of the northern state border.

When asked whether it was only a preventive security measure, Kotevski did not give a specific answer, saying that he could not devour more details on the matter.
