DODIK EXPLAINS: Bosnian Serbs do not live in BiH, nor do they exist!
In reponse to Rycoft's statement that "Dayton did its job to end conflicts" and that it is "depleted", Dodik said that the Dayton peace agreement ended the war only after BiH got a new political system.
Dodik: Int'l commission must establish truth about Srebrenica
- That's why it is very strange for someone who was in the British delegation at Dayton negotiations, not to understand that Dayton was not the only there to end the conflict', as stated by Rycroft - stressed the president of RS.
Dodik, Dacic: Preserving peace, security is important
Dodik stressed that Rycroft, during the time he spent in BiH, should have learned that "Bosnian Serbs" do not live there, nor do they exist.
- The term 'Bosnian Serbs' is insulting for us, and I do not know how Ambassador Rycroft would feel if someone treated his people in an insulting way - said Dodik.
The President of Republika Srpska said that Serbs live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and have for centuries, on their own.
- Given that a diplomat is in question, who has perfect knowledge of Serbian language, I am sure that the term 'Bosnian Serbs' is used deliberately, with purpose to adulate Bosniak political leadership, which is the policy of most diplomats in Bosnia and Herzegovina - stressed the President of Srpska.
What will be the reaction to Dodik's statement is not yet known, but one thing is certain - Bosnian Serbs do not really exist, and the use of such a term only leads to the division of a homogeneous nation.
