The making of the impressive and authentic figure of Patriarch Pavle lasted eight months, after a three-month search for the conceptual design positions which had to be in accordance with artistic and canonical requirements

In Leposavic on the day of the Patron Saint's Day of St. Basil of Ostrog and Tvrdoskog and the city saint day, in the church courtyard of a monument to Serbian Patriarch Pavle was shown.

The author of the statue of the 44th head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, who lived from 1990 to 2009, and the throne of St. Sava introduced from the place of Archbishop of Raska-Prizren eparchy where he spent 34 years, Milenko Balovic Zika (35) from Raska, a sculptor from Raska.

On the eve of the feast of St. Basil of Ostrog and Tvrdoskog at the port of the same named church, to the joy of the believers, the statue was brought in, with a height of 2.8 meters and weighing about 450 kg. It was set in place in the churchyard where Patriarch Pavle, the saviour of the Serbian people in Kosovo welcomes the faithful with a slightly lowered head as an expression of his modesty and moderation, by which, among other things he is remembered.

The master sculpture Balovic modestly speaks of his work which is greeted with amazement and praise, says that the people's reactions is his greatest pleasure.

- I have a turmoil of emotions, of great responsibility, honor and challenge for me as a man and as an artist. It was not easy, it was hard work, a lot of problems, temptation ... the question whether I am worthy to the imperative that I have to do it - said Balovic to Telegraf, which coincidentally or not from Raska-Prizren eparchy although he lives in the city, which is divided into the aforementioned and Zick diocese. For the "distinguished zeal and love for our holy Serbian Orthodox Church" Milnko Balovic, Zika of the Church of Leposavic received a "holy giveaway" which this municipality set up for "meritorious founder and contributor."

-It costs alot, but its worth alot more, everyone helped us out, I would mention, PE "Serbian Roads", PE "Serbian Highways", Art Foundry Jeremic, even people who are not of Orthodox religion - answers the question of how much this momument costs, archpriest of St. Basil in Leposavic Milomir Vlaskovic.

Cathedral of the St. Basil of Ostrog and Tvrdoskog is unique in many ways. The foundation of this temple was set in 2001, it was built by architect Ljubisa Folic, as he said himself, the last bastion of the tragedy that has befallen the Serbian people and its holy shrines in Kosovo and Metohija. Elements of destroyed and burned churches simply "flew", the base is with a Cross developmental guy like Virgin Ljeviske, stylistic features flared Holy Virgin from Musutiste, Lazarus, temple in Krusevac, with 8 highly elevated tower that symbol of the 8th century continued existence of the imperial Serbian Lavra Hilandar on Holy Mount.

In this temple is the "air" of the canvas - St cover the face of St. Basil of Ostrog, a gift to the Metropolitan of Montenegro and Littoral Amfilohije (2012) and  facsimile (Facsimile) Miroslav Gospel, the most important monuments of Cyrillic Serbian-Slovenian literacy, a gift from the benefactor who today are helping with the  imaging of the temple Slavisa Lakicevic from Sofia and Marko Miletic from Belgrade whose roots are right here.
