A raised level of combat readiness in Serbia: Nikolic raises the ARMY for the defense of Serbs from the KLA!

The Bureau for Coordination of Security Services, which was led by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, has proposed to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic to  bring a decision on additional engagement of the Serbian Army in the south, says the director of VBA Petar Cvetkovic.

The Bureau has proposed to the Government of Serbia to set up a special body that will coordinate joint action by all the security structures and forces.

Bureau: No indications conflicts will spill over to Serbia

After the session of the Bureau, chaired by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the Director of the VBA Petar Cvetkovic told the press that that body will be managed by the commander of Gendarmerie Goran Dragovic.

At the meeting of the Bureau which was attended by Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic and the Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojsa Stefanovic, the situation in Macedonia was discussed, aswell as the impact of this situation on the territory of Serbia. Proposals for preventing the spillover of the Macedonian conflict into Serbia was also discussed.

Serbia has raised the level of combat readiness and is ready to work together with other security structures to defend its territorial sovereignty and integrity, said Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic during his visit to the base node on the border with Macedonia.

- We are ready to work together with other security structures of the Republic of Serbia in order to respond to all the challenges that would threaten the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country and its citizens - the minister said in a statement for Tanjug.
