BC PARTIZAN: We will not fuse with Mega, because they are Red Star's partner!

The Partizan basketball players' coach Dusko Vujosevic said that he expected a tough game in the Serbian Superleague against FMP, because it is after semi-finals elimination in the ABA League playoff, and the threat of suspension of KLS due to unpaid obligations.

– We played two very hard games with FMP last year. In both of them we invested a lot of effort, great play and a little bit of luck and then we won. Nobody thinks that it will be an easy job. We will do our best despite the fact that these boys had a lot of progress. I think that we are a better team and that we will pass that to the basketball court – said Vujošević at the press conference, and then he referred to the story of fusion with Mega Leks:

–Malicious information are presented through modern means of communication. Such ideas are not realistic, first of all, I mean the story about the alleged fusion with Mega, like Red Star did  with FMP. After all, Mega has a partnership with Red Star, they gave Boban Marjanovic, and Mega has training in their gym. We have no contact with them and they turn the other way.

Vujosevic confirmed that Sasha Pavlovic will miss the game in Zeleznik because he has not yet recovered from the ankle injury during the game with Red Star.

– During the game with Red Star, he had a concussion after an accidental collision with Kalinic, later it turned out that he had twisted his ankle joint, and the scan showed that it was necessary for him to rest for 21 days  with treatment  – said the Partizan coach.

Vujosevic also said that there was a chance for all the players to leave the club at the end of the season, including Ed Muric who Armani was interested in, for one simple reason- they were not paid.

– I would like Muric to stay during the planned cycle in Partizan. The fact is that all players are available just like last year. It is a part of the strategy from a certain center of power that wants something like this to happen – concluded Vujosevic.

The game of the third round KLS between FMP and Partizan will be played at 18.00 in Zeleznik.
