Uros Mikic (22), who ran over and killed Marko Jovanovic with his car last weekend in a Belgrade suburb - Vidikovac, after committing the crime, he returned with his mother to the scene and watched the police investigation.

According to the investigation, after Mikic ran over the unfortunate Jovanovic, he called his mother Jelena, and she reportedly told him to leave the vehicle on one of the parking lots nearby. She then immediately picked him up at the appointed place, and they went to the crime scene together.

At the home of the killed Marko Jovanovic reigns sorrow and disbelief.

- We've lost Marko for good, and the pain is unbearable, but it hurts even more because the murderer of our son and grandson first fled from the scene without offering help. His ruthlessness in all of this is unacceptable and cannot be forgiven - says inconsolable Dobrila, grandmother of killed Marko.

- I live in Kragujevac, from where my daughter Branka and Marko are originally from. I remember being up late watching television when I heard the news of the accident on the Vidikovac.

Dobrila, Marko's grandmother, said she could not sense the danger.

- During the morning of the same day, after a few hours of hearing the news on television about the accident on Vidikovac, Marko's stepfather Predrag told me that my grandson was killed. I couldn't even scream, ask anything, say anything. I just collapsed - says the inconsolable woman for "Vecernje novosti".

- My Branka is inconsolable. The two of them were very close. Branka divorced Marko's father more than 15 years ago. She came with Marko to Belgrade. Remarried, but did everything in her power to make Marko into a nice and honest young man.

We remind you,the traffic accident in which Marko Jovanovic was killed took place on May 2nd when Uros Mikic, driving at a speed greater than 130 kilometers per hour ran over the unfortunate young man. On impact, Marko flew several meters and fell on the windshield of another car.

At the hearing, Mikic admitted to police that he ran over Jovanovic with a "Golf 2" and then called his mother, who came for him. He did not say where he hid the car with which he killed the young man.

Uros Mikic was remanded in custody for 30 days.
