LITTLE RED RIDING HOOOD DOES DRUGS AND GOES WITH PEDOPHILES BEHIND THE WALL: The scandalous performance for children in Nis

The director of the children's play "Little Red Riding Hood", Biljana Vujovic, done according to Igor Bojovic's text, inserted scenes where Little Red Riding Hood takes drugs, goes behind the wall with pedophiles only to return moments later as if nothing happened, writes Novosti.

The show is on the regular repertoire of the puppet theater in Nis.

- She took out alot my dramatic text, which I wrote according to motives from the famous fairy tale, and put in her own, which is unacceptable by copyright law. Nor did I not write that, nor is the text added with my consent. And from the legal and ethical point, it is unacceptable. The puppet theater of Nis announced a public apology, which I believe is significant because it is in a way a precedent: I consider it an apology to the industry of which I belong to, and my profession - said Bojovic.

The show was not removed from the repertoire, and the theater pledged to withdraw all the posters and programs with the name Igor Bojovic.

- What's this about can be answered by having a look at the controversial poster: on it, a black and white evil wolf with a small red cap, which in my opinion is a direct association to the "Red Berets" and the JSO. The poster is not suitable for a children's play, which is "loaded" with many evils in this world that do not relate to children. I guess it should be a critic of such a social phenomena but, unfortunately, in the play they act affirmatively! For example, when Little Red Riding Hood took drugs and exclaimed: "I'm a bird, I  can fly" - it provokes laughter and joy among the children in the hall - said Bojovic.

The Association of Playwrights of Serbia strongly protested against the abuse of copyright for writer Igor Bojovic.

- Not only did she jeopardize the principles protected by the law of copyright, but with this incriminating act, changed the meaning and significance of the text,introducing in this children's show themes of pedophilia and drug addiction - said Miladin Sevapic, president of UDPS.
