This famous song was BANNED in Serbia because it is SATANIC?! (VIDEO)
Museum authorities in Vrbas that organized the Night of Museum from May 8th to 18th consider the legendary hit from the group Queen, "Bohemian Rhapsody" unsuitable for this event because it "kills masculinity" and because the song's singer Freddie Mercury reportedly admitted that he is gay.
- When this song was mentioned at the meeting, I was unpleasantly surprised. Of course I did not agree, so we made a compromise, which was to perform the song on May 17th, in between the time when the program alternates between two performances - explained for "Blic" Jelena Aleksic, conductor and founder of the choir that will have a formal performance the same day when they will perform songs from the First and Second World War.

The Director of the Cultural Centre of Vrbas which operates within the museum, Richard Hengl says that he was not at the meeting, but that he had heard that there were comments made about this song.
- It was probably a joke - Hengl said shortly.
In a statement for this Belgrade newspaper rock critics have explained that this is the first time that the aforementioned song by Queen was even jokingly linked to Satanism.
- Knowing the biography of Queen front-man Freddy Mercury I'm sure he would have never dealt with such matters. Often people link music hits to Satanism, but in 90 percent of cases it's just marketing - explained the rock critic Petar Janjatovic.
Otherwise, Beelzebub is mentioned in this hit, which is designated in the Bible as a demon and one of the seven princes of Hell.
