Serb gets stabbed in Pasjane near Gnjilane
The stabbed man, Zoran Kostic, is not in critical condition. He was given medical assistance and was released from a hospital in Gnjilane on the same day.
The incident occurred when a car in which Kostic and his family were returning home from Gnjilane was intercepted by another vehicle last night.
Two attackers from the neighboring (ethnic) Albanian village of Vlastica blocked our passage, Kostic said for Caglavica-based Radio KIM.

Kostic was stabbed in the chest area and his hands, and was saved from tragic death by villagers in Pasjane who witnessed the incident.

President of the Partes-Pasjane Municipality Dragan Nikolic has told Tanjug that the incident was aimed at frightening Serbs in this part of Kosovo and that he demanded from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo to arrest those responsible.
Kosovo Police regional spokesman Ismet Hasani has said that the motive for the attack is still unknown, but the police launched an investigation immediately.
