- Members of the expedition feel great, we were lucky that the weather was great, and we were able to get to the top. A few of us were surprised by the earthquake, and we experienced it at the base camp at an altitude of 5,000 meters, but now we are all well - said Rasin.
He explained that, according to an earlier planned schedule, the return flight was scheduled for May 2nd, but that they would find out the details this afternoon when they arrive in Pokhara or possibly tomorrow when they arrive in Kathmandu.
Rasin also said that in this region of Nepal, where there were large avalanches, the situation has calmed down, and added that at lower altitudes life slowly returns to normal.
