A precarious little dog emptied the bus on line 65!
The bus driver on line 65 refused to drive passengers after a woman entered the bus with her dog at the street of 27 Mart. The driver told the woman that she could not ride the bus with her dog, and told her to leave the bus, which she refused.
The bus started moving along, but after ten minutes the driver stopped and said that he would not continue the route until the woman and her pet left the bus.
The passengers then started to complain because of the standing bus, to which the driver told them to move freely into the next one that came along.
The driver called the headquarters, and said he was stuck in a traffic jam to which they suggested for him to go to the garage and tell the passengers he could not continue further.
As reported by eyewitnesses, the woman with the dog got onto the next bus without any problems.
According to the decision of the City of Belgrade in 2011, pets are allowed in public transportation only if they are no taller than 40 centimeters, and in between the hours of 9 am to 1 pm, and 6 pm to midnight. All pets must be in carriers that need to be secured with a padlock or zipper, preventing the animal from escaping or coming into contact with other passengers.
Transport carriers include crates, boxes, cages or any other solid construction for the transport of animals, suitable for the type of pet.
