This is how the "Grobari" hit Nebojsa Ilic with a shot glass of cognac on the head (VIDEO)
At the moment when the judges marked the end of the match, in which Red Star beat Partizan and advanced to the finals of the ABA league, from the stands flew an assortment of items to the center court. On the court there were of course players of the red and whites that covered their heads with towels in an attempt to save themselves, but unfortunately, for the team manager, Nebojsa Ilic he was just not that lucky.
Partizan fans, so called "Grobari" managed to hit Ilic in the head when he was on his way down to the court to congratulate his team, and had him holding his head because of the blood that was coming out.
Almost immediately, he was taken in to get stitches, just before he smiled and commented that he was hit by a shot glass of cognac.
His bleeding head elicited confusion in the Pioneer Rec Center, after information had surfaced that the Partizan Coach Dusko Vujosevic duked it out with Mirko Pavlovic, and Ilic.
- There was not fight, just a little push and shove in which 20 people took part. I have no clue, I didn't see it. I was struck - Ilic told reporters shortly, and later discovered that the physical conflict with Vujosevic involved one of the (Crvena zvezda) Red Star fans.
