Many fans of black and white, and coach Dusko Vujosevic himself suspected that the Slovenian intentionally hurt their player, especially as it was the second time this season that the quarterback of red-and-white seriously injured his opponent. Murić was his previous target.
However, the basketball player explained later in the conference after the match that it was not intentional but that the injury occurred in the heat of battle. He repeated the same version of things in Telegraph Sport sport camera, adding that he apologized to the center of Partizan after the game.
- It was in the heat of the battle, and I'd like to see Nikola in the team for the second game to make it an even better game. What happened was not intentional and I wish him a speedy recovery.
It was a tough game and at that moment I didn't have the time to say how sorry I was – he was disoriented and I was in a hurry. I approached him later and told him everything would be fine – said Blazic who had fierce verbal duels and skirmishes with Sasha Pavlovic during the game, too.
- Everyone is fighting for his club and it's nothing personal. Everyone wants to win. - said the player.
