Seselj expects to receive document from ICTY Wednesday
ICTY indictee Vojislav Seselj stated Monday he expects the decision on his return to the Hague Tribunal to be officially delivered to him on Wednesday, adding he will not surrender voluntarily.
Seselj said he still has not received the ICTY's decision, because they wanted to deliver the document in English, and he asked for it to be translated into Serbian.
- I do not intend to hide or run. Since I became a dissident, I have got used to being arrested, Seselj told a press conference in Bor, eastern Serbia.
The leader of the Serbian Radical Party was provisionally released in November 2014, after more than 11 years in detention.
- Even when I arrived from The Hague, I said I will not go back to Scheveningen voluntarily. I stand by that, and I do not care about their decision, he added.
What happens next is a question for the Serbian government, President Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Seselj said.
- They are now in a position to decide on that. The Hague decision was made at their insistence, he said.
