ALARM FOR SERBIA: Tomorrow and day after tomorrow expect record high precipitation!

During the night and tomorrow it is expected around 20-30 millimeters of rain and at the southwest, west, Srem, Sumadija and Belgrade it is expected more than 60 millimeters of rain in 24 hours.

It is expected around 30 centimeters of snow in mountain areas tomorrow and on Friday due to intensified winds, blizzards and snowdrifts.

River Sava is expected to reach the basic level of embankment in Sabac. At Kolubara, Tamnava, Ljig, Ub, Drina, Lim, Jadar, Jasenica, Kubrisnica, Crnica, Lepenica, Lugomir and Resava the level will go above basic flood defences.

At the headwaters of West Morava with its tributaries the levels will reach the warning threshold, and at the headwaters of South Morava with its tributaries the levels will reach the warning thresholds tomorrow and on Friday.

At river Mlava, Pek and Timok the levels will reach and cross the warning thresholds. Local floods are expected at these watercourses tomorrow and on Friday.
