Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said last night that he will in the next three to four days meet twice with US President Donald Trump,

"We will meet twice on different occasions in the next four days. Don't take my word for it, I confuse dates and different time zones," Vucic said during a tour of the works at the new children's clinic - Tirsova 2.

He was replying to a journalist who asked when he would meet with the US president. Vucic added that "everything will happen in the next three, four days."

He also announced that he expects Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to visit Belgrade in August or September, who he said is, along with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, one of the most powerful women in the world.

When asked by a journalist if he is ready to "run around Nis" after (going to) America and Russia, the president added that he does not like to use that expression after the "blockaders" used it.

"I am ready for a serious conversation with Nis residents, for serious agreements about the future of Serbia, and after that I will go to Kragujevac, Novi Sad and all the other places," said Vucic.
