Italy confirms participation in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni confirmed that her country will participate in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade.
Vucic posted on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" that he had received "fantastic news from Rome."
"News has arrived from Rome, from a great friend of Serbia, I dare say also my good friend, Giorgia Meloni. A letter from the prime minister of Italy confirms Italy's participation in EXPO. It is the 88th country that has confirmed participation in EXPO and I am very happy about that. An important, big, truly friendly country. Welcome to Serbia," said Vucic.
Earlier today, the president of Serbia said in Sofia that King Abdullah II confirmed that Jordan will also participate in the international exibition in Serbia, and added that he expects that Serbia will soon open its embassy in Jordan.
