Baby dies in horrific accident on Ibar highway

A serious traffic accident happened yesterday around 17:25 on Ibarska highway, near Gornji Milanovac.

A one-year-old baby was killed and her mother was injured in the crash.
They were traveling in a vehicle moving from the direction of Cacak, while another car coming from Rudnik crashed into them.
According to what we have learned, the baby died because she fell out of the vehicle.
The mother suffered injuries to her arms and was transported to the hospital in Gornji Milanovac.
The driver was her husband, the baby's father.
The investigation established that the collision occurred due to failure to yield the right of way between two passenger vehicles, the police said.
