The National Assembly of Serbia today confirmed the resignation of Prime Minister Milos Vucevic.

Vucevic resigned on January 28, the morning after a female student was seriously injured in Novi Sad.

Once the Assembly confirms the prime minister's resignation, the government becomes technical.

There are now two options on the table: selecting a new prime minister and electing a new government in the Assembly with the next 30 days, or calling snap parliamentary elections.
