Vucic: There will be no lenience - everyone who behaved savagely in Obrenovac will answer for it
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today received representatives of the administration of the municipality of Obrenovac.
Vucic said that everyone who on Monday behaved savagely and attacked the deputy mayor of the municipality, Dragan Blazic, while he was coming to work, as well as other employees, should be punished in accordance with the law.
The president said that Minister Darko Glisic told him Blazic, who was physically attacked yesterday, is not feeling well because of everything that happened and that is why he was unable to attend the meeting held today at the Presidency in Belgrade.
Vucic said that he called Blazic on the phone and found out that his family was very upset by the incident.
"We tried a to encourage him a little and to tell him that those who behaved savagely lilke that will be held accountable, that there will be no lenience, that the law will have to be respected," Vucic stressed.
The president apologized to the employees of the Obrenovac municipality for everything they are going through.
