President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that he understands that the resignation of Prime Minister Milos Vucevic will be confirmed on Tuesday or Wednesday in the Serbian National Assembly.

The deadline to form the new government will then start running.
"This means that April 18 is the deadline to form a government. If that is wanted, if not, then we will go to elections because in that case, the deadline is 45 to 60 days, which means, if the government is not formed, elections would be at the beginning of June, on June 1 or June 8.
June 8 is more logical, because we would be told that June 1 is early," Vucic said during a meeting of the caretaker government.
