Vucic's message after government session: He revealed what was said
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic spoke after a government session held today which he attended, to state that they exchanged information on the current security situation in the country and the region.
"During the meeting, we exchanged information about the current security situation in the country and the region. We particularly focused on the security challenges in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina," President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, who attended at the invitation of caretaker Prime Minister of Serbia Milos Vucevic, stated afterwards.
"Also, we discussed the overall aspects of the announced protest on March 15. In moments when the security situation in the Balkans is seriously shaken, Serbia strives to preserve peace and stability, as well as the safety of all its citizens.
We also touched on the state of the economy in light of the ongoing protests, as well as the damage caused by them, which is reflected in the reduction of investments and other challenges to the economy. We agreed that it is essential to take immediate action to mitigate the consequences and support the economic sectors affected by these circumstances.
I stressed the need for the cooperation of all institutions and relevant actors in order to ensure stability and provide support to citizens and companies," Vucic concluded.
