Vucic and Dodik in front of citizens in Banja Luka: Thank you for the magnificent welcome
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Banja Luka last night, where he met with President of the Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina) Milorad Dodik.
Vucic headed to Banja Luka after a session of the Council for National Security held in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic in Belgrade, which was called after the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered a verdict against Dodik.
After arriving in Banja Luka, Vucic sent a message via his Instagram account:
"The moment is not favorable and happy, but if I was able to be in Banja Luka a few days ago when we celebrated Sretenje together, our national holiday, it would be shameful not to be in Banja Luka when things are difficult, not to be with my people.
Thank you for this magnificent welcome. I am always in favor of the decisions we make being rational, always being calm, patient and tolerant.
Whatever the RS decides, Serbia and I personally will always be with you. We belong to the same people and we cannot and will not behave differently. We love the RS. Long live Srpska (RS)! Long live Serbia!"
Vucic also addressed the gathered citizens ahead of his meeting with Milorad Dodik.
