Vulin: I don't believe in mistakes, but I do believe in betrayal, foreign minister must take responsibility
"Serbia has voted for the European resolution that condemned Russia for a war for which even the US no longer condemns it. Thanks to Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia is the only country in Europe that did not impose sanctions against Russia and this disgrace should never have happened. The representatives of Serbia at the United Nations shamed and embarrassed us with their vote.
I do not believe in a mistake because there is no Serb who would not stop to think twice before voting against Russia, our only historically unchanged ally. I don't believe in a mistake, but I do believe in betrayal. President Aleksandar Vucic acted honorably and confirmed that this is not Serbia's position and that this is not our policy. This was a vote against Serbia and the Serbs and against Aleksandar Vucic and his policies.
The minister of foreign affairs must take responsibility for the disgrace that has been brought upon us and bear all political consequences. If he was held responsible for signing the same paper as so-called Kosovo, on a similar occasion, of a no less stupid resolution in Switzerland, today's disgrace would not have happened. This vote was shameful and must be answered for," stated Vulin.
