Caretaker Prime Minister of Serbia Milos Vucevic said today that the activities in the fight against corruption will continue and pointed out that there are no favored and privileged people.

Vucevic was in Sarajevo when he stated that the fight against corruption should be continuous, while it further intensifies when it becomes obvious that it threatens the safety and security of citizens.

He stressed that there are no favored and privileged people, that the activities in the fight against corruption will continue and added that the competent prosecution and the Ministry of Interior are launching the investigations.

"People are eager for justice and they want to see respect for the law and those who have violated the law brought to justice," said Vucevic.

The prime minister stated that in the coming period we will see many more activities on similar cases in the whole of Serbia.

"The question is not whether someone is a member of a certain party, but whether they violated the law. Operations will continue, because it is healing and necessary for our country and people," said Vucevic and added that prosecutors and judges will make decisions.

"The executive branch cannot interfere in these activities, but I can say that you will see more activities by the prosecution and the police," stated Vucevic.
